The Ondo State Executive council meeting is currently ongoing.
Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa is presiding over the meeting as the Vice Chairman of the council.
The exco meeting is coming after months of political wrangling between the deputy Governor and loyalists of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had last Friday summoned the warring factions to a meeting in Abuja where it was agreed that the deputy governor should continue to perform his duties as deputy governor.
The exco meeting currently holding is an indication that the political impasse in the state may have come to an end.
Details of the agenda at the meeting is still unknown as at the time of filling this report.
