Information reaching VENO tv confirms that the Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, popularly known as the Generational Prophet, Dr. Chris Okafor, is bereaved following the passing of his father, Pa Steven Okafor.
Dr. Okafor announced the sad news at the close of the special Thanksgiving Service marking the Grace Nation Global Women of Wonders 2026 Convention in Lagos.
According to the cleric, his father passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The Man of God became emotional while informing the congregation of the loss and appealed to members of Grace Nation worldwide to remember the Okafor family in their prayers during this difficult period.
“Please remember my family in your prayers. We have lost our patriarch, but we know God is with us,” Dr. Okafor said.
He added that details of the burial arrangements would be announced at the appropriate time.
Pa Steven Okafor was described as a loving father and pillar of support whose influence helped shape a son who has gone on to touch lives through his ministry.
VENO tv joins family members, friends, associates and the entire Grace Nation Global family in mourning Pa Steven Okafor.
We pray that God grants Dr. Chris Okafor and the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss and grants Pa Steven Okafor eternal rest.
May his soul rest in peace.
