VENO TV: Don't Be Intimidated by Your Enemies — Pastor Princess Venisa Ojo (Omo Oba Jesu) Encourages Christians Date: 19-07-26
In this edition of Sunday Tonic, Pastor Princess Venisa Ojo, popularly known as Omo Oba Jesu, has urged Christians not to be intimidated by their enemies, regardless of the persecutions or challenges they may encounter.
Preaching from Philippians 1:28, she explained that believers should remain steadfast and courageous, declaring that fearlessness in the face of opposition is a sign that the enemies of God are heading for destruction, while God's children are destined for salvation through His divine power.
She reminded Christians that God is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, and therefore remains faithful to preserve those who trust in Him.
Quoting Philippians 1:27–28 (NLT), she said:
"Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. Don't be intimidated in any way by your enemies."
Pastor Princess Venisa Ojo emphasized that Christians should stand united in faith, remain committed to the Gospel, and refuse to allow fear, intimidation, or persecution to weaken their confidence in Christ.
She further noted that the presence of opposition should not discourage believers but rather strengthen their faith, reminding them that God is always in control. According to her, enemies are already in trouble because the victory belongs to those who remain faithful to God.
She concluded by encouraging believers to stay confident, know their identity in Christ, and never allow anyone or any circumstance to make them feel inferior, fearful, or pressured to abandon their faith.
