VENO tv: Security Watch Late Gen. Rabe’s Wife Rescued After Husband's Death in Captivity, Receiving Treatment in Hospital
Date: 15-06-26

There appears to be a new twist in the tragic kidnap saga involving the late retired Major General Rabe Abubakar and his family.

According to security sources, troops conducting a search-and-rescue operation traced the kidnappers to Tunga village, where they engaged the armed bandits in a fierce gun battle.

The sources disclosed that under sustained military pressure, the kidnappers were forced to flee from their hideout. However, before escaping, the criminals reportedly shot Mrs. Abubakar and abandoned her at the scene.

Military personnel subsequently rescued her and rushed her to a medical facility, where she is currently receiving treatment. Her condition was described as critical but stable as doctors continue efforts to save her life.

The development comes shortly after the confirmation of the death of her husband, retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who reportedly died while in the custody of his abductors.

The incident has once again renewed calls for stronger security measures and intensified operations against banditry and kidnapping across the country.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Abubakar family during this difficult period.
