The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to hold its National Convention in Abuja on Friday, in compliance with the directive of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to official sources, over 8,000 delegates have been accredited and are expected to participate in the high-profile political gathering.
Top party leaders, including the National Leader and President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside other key stakeholders and party executives, are billed to attend the convention.
The Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this during a press briefing, emphasizing that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth and successful convention.
He further reiterated the party’s commitment to democratic processes and internal party unity as preparations reach their final stage.
The convention is expected to shape key decisions within the party and further strengthen its political structure ahead of future engagements.
