President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday paid an official visit to Adamawa State for the commissioning of key projects executed across the state by the government of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
During the visit, the President commissioned 21 newly constructed schools spread across different communities, as well as the newly completed Government House project. He also performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the NYSC orientation camp project, marking another milestone in infrastructure development in the state.
The people of Adamawa turned out in large numbers to welcome the President, describing the visit as historic and symbolic of the Federal Government’s recognition of the state’s development strides.
Speaking on behalf of the Adamawa State Government, the Secretary to the State Government,Alhaji Tukur said the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has, in the last six years, remained committed to its Six-Point Development Agenda, with the guiding principle of “No one left behind, nothing untouched.”
The State government reaffirmed its commitment to people-oriented projects in education, infrastructure, and youth development, pledging to sustain the pace of development for the overall growth of Adamawa State, fondly described as “The Land of Beauty.”
