VENO tv ADELEKE vs APC LG WAR EXPLODES Arrest Warrants on UBA Top Executives Over Osun Council Money! By Kayode Adoide

The long-running battle between Governor Adeleke and the APC over Osun local governments has escalated sharply.
Since Governor Adeleke assumed office, the crisis has moved from one courtroom to another. The APC insists its elected chairmen were reinstated by the Appeal Court and should enjoy direct access to LG funds. The state government counters that the chairmen’s tenure has expired and that they are unlawfully occupying council secretariats.
Investigation Reveals:
A Magistrate Court in Osogbo has issued arrest warrants against top officials of UBA:
GMD Oliver Alawuba
Deputy MD Chukwuma Nweke
Company Secretary Billy Odum
They face 31 counts of criminal conspiracy for allegedly allowing unauthorised persons to open and operate 30 local government accounts at UBA’s Osogbo branch.
Court Update:
The accused did not appear in court.
Bench warrants were issued by the police.
Next hearing: February 10.
Efforts to get a reaction from the bank were unsuccessful as of press time.
